Product settings: call to action, sales count, sales limit, phone number, refund policy

Choose buy button text, show or hide sales, and understand which Settings controls currently affect your public page and checkout.

Your page is written and your file is uploaded. A few switches still decide what the buy button says, whether visitors see how many people already bought, and what you promise about refunds.

Open the Settings tab

  1. Go to Products and open your product.

  2. Click the Settings tab. You'll see two groups: Product and Checkout Experience.

Set the price on the Product tab. See Price your product: free or paid.

Choose your button text

  1. Under Custom Call to Action, pick I want this!, Buy Now or Pay Now.

  2. Check the preview. The price, or FREE, sits beside the button text.

New products start with Buy Now. You might choose I want this! for a free guide and Buy Now for a paid download.

Show how many people bought

Switch on Publicly show the number of sales to show a count such as 120 Downloads under the button. It counts every completed order, including free ones. It's on by default, so switch it off if you'd rather keep numbers private while a product is new.

Limit product sales

  1. Switch on Limit product sales.

  2. Enter a positive whole number, such as 50. This value is saved, but it does not currently stop checkout when the limit is reached. Do not rely on it to restrict sales.

If the box is empty or isn't a number above zero, you'll see Please enter a number and the product won't publish until you fix it.

Collect customer phone number

Checkout currently requires a mobile number even when Collect customer phone number is off. The switch does not currently make that field optional.

Add a refund policy

  1. Switch on Specify a refund policy for this product.

  2. Type your policy in the box. You can add formatting and links.

If you enable this setting without entering text, Zorcha saves the default wording: "Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase for unused digital products." Enter your own intended policy instead of leaving the field blank. The saved policy is not currently displayed on the public product page or at checkout, so this setting alone does not communicate it to buyers.

Next, see Create and publish a digital product to put these settings live.
