Write your product page: description, highlights, FAQs and media

Add images or video, a name, description, highlights and FAQs to your product page, and check them in the live preview.

Use the Product tab to explain what you sell, show the product and answer questions before someone buys. Keep the description specific: what is included, who it is for and how buyers can use it.

Open the Product tab

  1. Go to Products and open your product.

  2. Stay on the Product tab. You edit on the left and the phone preview on the right updates as you type.

The Product link box at the top shows your page address. Click the copy icon to grab it.

Add images or video

  1. Under Media, click Select an image or video, or drop a file onto it.

  2. Add more files the same way. They appear as tiles in a row.

  3. Drag a tile by its dots handle to change the order, or click the bin icon to remove it.

Media accepts JPEG, PNG, MP4, WebM and MOV files, one at a time. These files appear on your public sales page. Put the files customers receive after checkout on the Files tab instead.

Write the name and description

  1. Under Details, fill in Product Name. For example: 4-Week Meal Plan.

  2. In Description, say what's inside and who it's for. For example: "28 days of high-protein vegetarian meals, with a weekly grocery list."

You need a name before you can publish.

Add highlights

  1. Type a benefit into the Highlights field, such as "Printable PDF, 42 pages".

  2. Click Add Highlight for each extra line.

  3. Click the bin icon on a line to remove it.

Each highlight shows on the page with a sparkle icon, right above your buy button. Empty lines are dropped when the product saves.

Answer common questions with FAQs

  1. Turn on the FAQs switch. It's off by default and shows Hidden until you do.

  2. Keep the heading as FAQs or rename it, for example "Before you buy".

  3. Click Add FAQ, then type the question and answer. For example: "Is it vegetarian?" / "Yes, every recipe."

Delete any FAQ you leave blank, because the page still shows it.

Save and check your changes

Drafts save on their own a few seconds after you stop typing, once the product has a name. Click Preview to open the page in a new tab.

On a live product, edits stay in the editor until you click Update. To undo them, open the menu next to Update and choose Discard changes.
