Organise your Shop page: categories, header and layout

Group products into categories, choose how the Shop header and category row look, and see what buyers can do on your Shop page.

Someone taps Shop on one of your product pages. Instead of one long list, they should find your recipe guides together, your 1:1 calls together, and your free downloads in one tap. Your Shop page does that once you group products into categories.

Before you start

  • Your Shop page is zorcha.link/yourname/shop. It lists every live product, digital products and bookings alike, and every product page has a Shop button that opens it.

  • The Shop page settings open once you have at least one product. Until then, the Shop row in Link in Bio shows Add Product instead.

  • Until your Link in Bio is published, zorcha.link/yourname on its own opens your Shop page too. To set up your link first, see Claim your store link and pick a theme.

Step 1: Open your Shop page settings

The Shop page is edited in Link in Bio, in Instagram workspaces and in workspaces without Instagram alike.

  1. Click Link in Bio in the left menu.

  2. On the Page tab, click Edit next to Shop.

You'll see two parts, Header and Categories, each with Modify. The preview on the right shows your Shop page as you change it. Shop changes save as you make them and show on your Shop page straight away; you don't need to click Publish for them.

Step 2: Set the header

  1. Click Modify next to Header.

  2. Under Layout, pick Spotlight, Banner or Headline. Headline is text only, with no picture.

  3. Under Cover Image, click Upload or drop an image.

  4. Under Heading, type your shop's title. It starts as Shop. Switch it off to hide it.

  5. Switch on Tagline to add one line under the heading, such as "Guides and 1:1 calls for home baristas".

Click the back arrow next to Header to return to the Shop page settings.

Step 3: Create your categories

You can add categories in two places. Both edit the same list.

  • From Shop settings: click Modify next to Categories, then Add Category. In New Category, type a Category name, add a picture if you like, click Assign Products to pick the products that belong in it, and click Create Category.

  • From a product: on the product's Product tab, click Add Category under Categories, then pick a category or type a new name.

A product can be in more than one category. Until you add categories, your shop groups products by type. To rename a category, edit its name in the Categories list in Shop settings.

Step 4: Choose how categories look

  1. In Shop settings, click Modify next to Categories.

  2. Under Layout, pick Tags (small pills), Stories (round pictures) or Tiles (larger picture cards).

  3. Drag categories to change their order on the shop.

  4. Switch a category off to keep it off the shop. Its products still show under Shop all.

What buyers see

On a computer, your Shop page shows the header, the category row starting with Shop all, and your products in a grid of up to four across. On a phone, fewer cards fit across.

Buyers can:

  • tap a category to see only its products, or Shop all for everything

  • search by product name

  • tap Free to see only free products

  • use Sort by: Newest, Price: low to high, Price: high to low or Top rated

Each card shows the product's first picture, its rating and its price, or Free. Tapping a card opens the product page.
