Choose what people see after they submit

Show the standard thank-you screen, or send people to your WhatsApp, booking page or product after they submit a form.

Someone has just applied for your workshop. Instead of leaving them on a "done" page, you can send them straight to your WhatsApp chat or booking page so they take the next step while they're still keen.

See the standard thank-you screen

With no redirect set, people see this after they submit:

  • Thank you!

  • "Your response to" your form name "has been received."

  • "You're all done. You can close this page."

If your form uses email verification, this screen appears after the person enters their code, and the message reads "Your email is verified and your response to" your form name "has been received."

The thank-you wording is fixed, so you can't edit it. To change the text on the submit button itself, click the button in the Editor and edit Button title.

Send people to a page after they submit

Redirects work on every plan.

  1. Open Forms, click your form, then click the Settings tab.

  2. Under General, turn on Redirect on completion.

  3. In Redirect URL, paste the full address, starting with https://.

  4. Click Update in the top bar.

When you click out of the Redirect URL field, Zorcha checks that the address starts with https:// or http://. If it doesn't, you'll see Please enter a valid URL and the address isn't saved.

Pick a page that helps them take the next step

  • A WhatsApp chat: https://wa.me/ followed by your number with the country code, so applicants can message you straight away.

  • A booking page: your calendar link, so people pick a slot right after they apply.

  • A product page: your Zorcha product link, for a paid guide or class that goes with the form.

Know what people see with a redirect

After they submit, the thank-you screen shows a Continue to button with your page's domain, for example Continue to wa.me, and "Taking you there in 3s…". After three seconds they're taken to your page in the same tab. If that doesn't happen, the screen shows "Not redirected? Tap the button above." and they can tap Continue to.

With email verification on, the countdown starts only after the person enters the correct code.

Turn the redirect off

In Settings, turn off Redirect on completion and click Update. Zorcha clears the saved address, and people see the standard thank-you screen again.

Test it on the live form

Preview doesn't let you submit, so open your form link on your phone and send one test answer to see the redirect. Test answers stay in your Submissions list, because submissions can't be deleted yet.
