Understand your payout statement: what each line means

Read a Digital Products transfer in Settings > Payouts: Customer paid, platform fees, GST, TCS, TDS and Net payable, in plain words.

Your payout can differ from the total buyers paid because the breakdown includes fees and withholding. Open Payout details to see the amounts recorded for a transfer.

Find your transfers

Go to Settings > Payouts and scroll to Transfers.

Each row shows the invoice number, the date, the amount and the last four digits of the account it went to. Click Load more transfers to see older ones.

If the list is empty, you'll see "Your payouts will appear here after they are processed." If it says "Paid earnings are recorded, but transfer details are not available yet.", your money is on record and the details are still catching up. A row marked Invoice unavailable is still a transfer; its invoice number just hasn't been recorded.

Open a transfer

  1. Click View details on the transfer.

  2. Payout details opens with the invoice number at the top.

  3. Orders lists every order paid out in this transfer, then the transfer amount and the bank it went to.

Read the payout breakdown

Payout breakdown adds up all the orders in the transfer:

  • Customer paid: what your buyers paid in total.

  • Platform fees: Zorcha's platform fee plus the payment processing deduction for these orders.

  • GST on platform fee: the tax recorded on Zorcha's platform commission.

  • Subtotal: what's left after fees and their GST.

  • GST TCS withheld: GST collected at source, held back from your earnings.

  • TDS withheld: income tax deducted at source from your earnings.

  • Net payable: the combined net amount for the orders in this breakdown. For a partial payout, check the transfer amount at the top to see how much was sent.

Tap the info icon beside either tax line for a one-line reminder.

Say Meera's transfer shows Orders (3). Customer paid is what those three buyers paid together, and Net payable is what reaches her after the lines above it.

Sometimes only part of an order is in a transfer. You'll then see "This calculation covers the full orders; only part is included in this payout." The amount at the top of the panel is what was actually sent.

If a transfer looks wrong

Contact support with the invoice number, the order numbers under Orders and the line you want checked. If the invoice number is unavailable, include the transfer date and amount. Do not send full bank account details or sign-in codes.
