Opened Add Step and noticed a crown on Google Sheets, or that Send a DM is missing after a form? Both are expected. Here is what is available where.
Flow Builder and plans
Flow Builder is included from the Pro plan. Most steps are available to everyone who has Flow Builder. A few are marked as advanced and need the Ultimate or Business plan. On Pro they show with the Ultimate icon and open the upgrade dialog instead of adding the step.

In Condition: the You follow them or not and Blue Tick rules
Everything else, including Send a DM, Collect Info for email, phone and name, Condition, Randomize, Smart Delay, Send HTTP Request and Send Meta Conversion Event, is available on every plan with Flow Builder. See Pricing for the current plan line-up.
What each trigger allows
Comments on Post or Reel, Replies to a Story, Sends you a DM, Replies to an Ad: all steps.
Submits a Form: Condition, Randomize, Smart Delay, Send HTTP Request and Add row to Google Sheets. Send a DM and Send Meta Conversion Event are not offered, because a form submission is not an Instagram conversation.
The one-DM rule on comment flows
On a Comments on Post or Reel flow, once your first DM has gone out, the next Send a DM, Condition or Collect Info on that path is greyed out until the person taps a reply button. The editor explains it inline: Only one automated DM is allowed on this path. Use a postback button to send another message. Add a button to your first DM and continue the flow from that button.
Quick reference for the logic steps
Condition routes by a rule on contact or form data, for example "Email is present". Blog: how to use the Condition step.
Randomize splits people across paths by weight. It does not look at their data.
Smart Delay waits before the next step. A single delay must be under 24 hours.
The panel above is from an Ultimate workspace, so every step is unlocked. On Pro, Google Sheets shows the Ultimate icon instead.
Submits a Form and Send HTTP Request are switched on per workspace. If either is greyed out and none of the above explains it, contact support with the automation name.
