Meta Ads automation allows you to automatically send Instagram DMs when someone comments on your Meta ad.
To use this feature, you must connect your account through Meta Business during onboarding.
Before You Start
When signing up for Zorcha, you'll see two authentication options:
Authenticate with Meta Business
Authenticate with Instagram
If you want to run automations on Meta Ads, you must select Authenticate with Meta Business.
Accounts connected through Instagram authentication cannot access Meta Ads automations.
How to Set Up a Meta Ads Automation
Step 1: Connect Your Account Through Meta Business
During onboarding, click Authenticate with Meta Business and complete the authorization process.
Once connected, you'll be taken to your Zorcha dashboard.
Step 2: Create a New Automation
Open Automations from the left-hand sidebar.
Click New Automation.
Select DM from Ads.
This will open the automation setup screen.
Step 3: Select Your Ad Account
The first step is to choose the Meta ad account that is running your ads.
Select the ad account from the dropdown menu.
Zorcha will automatically display all ads associated with that account.
Choose the ad you want to automate.
Step 4: Set Up Your Trigger Keywords
Add the keywords that should trigger the automation when someone comments on your ad.
Whenever a user comments using one of the selected keywords, the automation will be triggered.
Step 5: Draft Your DM Message
Create the message that should be sent automatically when the automation is triggered.
You can customize the message based on your campaign, lead magnet, offer, or resource.
Step 6: Go Live
After reviewing your setup, click Go Live.
Your Meta Ads automation will begin monitoring comments on the selected ad and automatically send DMs based on the trigger keywords you've configured.
Important Notes
Meta Ads automation is only available for accounts connected through Meta Business.
You must select an ad account before choosing an ad.
Only ads from the selected ad account will be displayed.
The automation is triggered when users comment on the selected ad using your configured keywords.
All other automation setup steps work similarly to other Zorcha automations.
FAQs
1. Can I run Meta Ads automations if authenticated with Instagram?
No. Meta Ads automations are only available for accounts connected through Meta Business.
2. Where can I find the DM from Ads template?
Go to Automations → New Automation → DM from Ads.
3. Why can't I see my ads in the selection list?
Make sure you've selected the correct Meta ad account. Zorcha only displays ads associated with the selected account.
4. Can I change the DM message later?
Yes. You can edit your automation and update the message at any time.
5. What triggers the automation?
The automation is triggered when someone comments on your selected ad using one of your configured keywords.
6. Do I need to create a separate automation for each ad?
Yes. You need to select the specific ad you want the automation to monitor during setup.
